Our process
From concept to confident launch.
Six stages, each with a clear purpose and clear outputs. Designed so business owners always know what's happening, what's next and what we need from them.
The six stages
01
Discovery
Understand business objectives, users, challenges and functional requirements.
We start with conversations, not code. We learn how your business works today, who will use the software, what is slowing you down and what a successful outcome looks like in practical terms.
Deliverables
- Requirements summary
- User and stakeholder map
- Success measures
What we need from you
Time with the people who do the work, plus any existing documents, spreadsheets or systems.
02
Planning & Strategy
Define architecture, workflows, priorities and project scope.
We turn discovery into a plan: the scope of the first release, how the system will be structured, which technologies fit, and the milestones you can expect. You know what is being built and why before development begins.
Deliverables
- Scope and milestone plan
- Architecture outline
- Estimate and timeline
What we need from you
Decisions on priorities and sign-off on the scope for the first release.
03
UI/UX Design
Create intuitive interfaces and clear user experiences.
We design the screens your users will work with, starting from the most important journeys. Prototypes let you click through flows and give feedback while changes are still quick and inexpensive.
Deliverables
- User flows
- Interface designs
- Clickable prototype
What we need from you
Feedback on prototypes, brand assets and content.
04
Development
Build maintainable frontend, backend and database systems.
We build in short cycles and show working software regularly. Code is typed, reviewed and structured to be maintained — by us or by your own team later.
Deliverables
- Working increments
- Regular demos
- Source code in version control
What we need from you
Availability for demos and timely answers to questions that come up.
05
Quality Assurance
Test functionality, responsiveness, usability and reliability.
Each release is tested across devices and browsers, against real scenarios and edge cases. Before launch, you review the software on a staging environment that mirrors production.
Deliverables
- Test checklist
- Staging environment
- Issue log and fixes
What we need from you
User acceptance testing with real data and scenarios.
06
Launch & Support
Deploy, monitor and provide agreed post-launch assistance.
We handle deployment, domains and configuration, then monitor the system after go-live. An agreed support period covers fixes and adjustments, and we can plan further improvements together.
Deliverables
- Production deployment
- Handover documentation
- Agreed support period
What we need from you
Final go-live approval and a point of contact for support.
Collaboration
What working with us feels like.
Process is only useful if it makes the project easier for you. These are the habits we keep on every engagement.
A predictable rhythm
Regular check-ins and demos at an agreed cadence, so progress is visible and feedback is timely.
One clear channel
A named point of contact on both sides and a shared place for questions, decisions and files.
Written decisions
Scope, priorities and changes are confirmed in writing, so there's never confusion about what was agreed.
Your accounts, your data
Domains, hosting and app store accounts are set up in your company's name wherever possible.
FAQ
Questions about the process
Do I need technical knowledge to work with you?
No. We explain decisions in plain language, show working software regularly and ask for feedback on things you know best — your business, customers and workflows.
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope. A focused website may take a few weeks; a custom system is planned in phases over several months. You get a timeline after the planning stage, before development starts.
What if our requirements change during the project?
Change is normal. We assess the impact on scope and timeline, agree it with you in writing, and adjust the plan — rather than silently absorbing or refusing it.
How do you estimate cost?
After discovery we have enough understanding to estimate. Depending on the project, this may be a fixed price for a defined scope or a phased estimate for larger systems.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes an agreed post-launch support period. After that, we can continue with ongoing maintenance and enhancements if you need them.
Have a project in mind?
Let's build something that works.
Tell us about your idea, challenge or business requirements. We would love to explore how technology can help.
